New plans & pricing

We've introduced new self-service plans: Hobby ($5/mo, 6 users) for individuals and small groups, and Starter ($6/user/mo) for teams.
Previously, we offered a single "Team" plan for everyone — $10 for 10 seats. The one-size-fits-all model didn't make sense for the variety of ways people use Relay. Today, we are introducing distinct tiers designed specifically for personal and business use.
Hobby Plan ($5/mo, includes 6 users)
We wanted to make the full Relay experience accessible to everyone. This plan is designed for:
- Couples & Families: Sharing household wikis or travel plans
- DnD Groups: Managing campaign notes and lore together
- Small Projects: Collaborating with a few friends without a high barrier to entry
Includes 10GB cloud storage and up to 6 users.
Starter Plan ($6/user/mo)
Designed for businesses and professional teams. This replaces the old fixed-seat model with a flexible per-seat pricing that grows with your organization. Includes SSO, role-based access control, and email support.
Free, Premium, and Enterprise plans
We also offer
- Free (up to 3 users, markdown-only if you're using our cloud),
- Premium ($18/user/mo, adds Git sync and APIs), and
- Enterprise (custom pricing for airgapped deployment). Full details at relay.md/pricing.
Existing subscribers
If you are on our (legacy) Team plan, you're grandfathered in — you can keep that plan as long as you want. However, if one of these new plans fits you better, you can switch over by hitting the 'manage' button in your Relay Server's settings screen. For many of you, that'll drop your monthly cost from $10 to $5.
One more thing: Self-hosting is now free on all plans, including Free.
